This is a weekly volunteer-led group that welcomes returning participants and new ones.  Grief touches every one of us in its own time and way. It changes us, asks us to slow down, to listen, and to begin again. This group is a gentle space to share, to feel, and to find comfort in being together. We walk with grief here — not to push it away, but to let it guide us toward healing, understanding, and a bit more peace. You don’t have to go through this alone.

Nearly twenty years ago in Cape Town, Marily Charles began her first grief support group for young mothers who had lost their babies. Through that experience, she came to understand how deeply grief needs to be witnessed and held within community. Today, she invites you to take a gentle step toward caring for yourself — by joining our group or reaching out to her for a conversation.
